Fini! (and some news)

Addendum to the last update:

I wanted to feature a bit of really impressive editing work from Teo - a Lackadaisy music video set to the Brian Setzer Orchestra rendition of Caravan.
You can download it here, or view it at YouTube.

Additionally, I've been invited to be the guest of honor at Furry Connection North in Michigan this spring. It'll be my first time at a convention of this type (or any type for that matter, outside of the gaming industry). Registration for the event has opened recently - have a gander!

------------------

...Well, the 'book 1' comic material is, at least. I still have some art left to do, but it's winding down.

Three new pages:

Lackadaisy Lassitude
Lackadaisy Rendezvous
Lackadaisy Daybreak

It would have been more pragmatic to space these page updates out over the next few weeks, particularly because October is looking to be a very busy month (I'll be in Italy for part of it promoting the book, actually). I felt from a storytelling point of view, these final pages worked better as a group, though....and what business do artists have being pragmatic anyway?

Just for clarity, the first book is the only thing I'm referring to as complete. Following some quiet time to allow me a little space for book promotion, securing a deal with an English-language publisher, and catching up on some personal things I've neglected for the sake of Lackadaisy, the comic will resume updating here.

Palaver

New page added today:

Lackadaisy Palaver

On a somewhat tangential note, I was interviewed by Vincent Keave not long ago about girls working in the game industry (presumably because I am one such creature). For anyone interested, the article is appearing at The Escapist presently.

I neglected to mention in the interview how much I hate pink...on principle, mostly. I think dressing things up in this all too often obnoxious hue is a lousy, platitudinous way to market products - games and otherwise - for girls. Anyway, my ranting doesn't really have a point except to say that I find the graphic design surrounding the article rather amusing. All shades of pink aside, though, I'm quite honored.

Crunch Time

I do apologize for being quiet lately.  Because of deadlines, I've had to tackle the remaining comic pages going into the book en masse.  I'll post them here, of course, as I complete them (at least one should be done in a day-ish or so).

In the meantime, I've added a little bit of preview art mostly pertaining to those afore mentioned pages:
